I love how you've positioned your shot...and the curve of the jetty really plays well into the feel you were trying to achieve...I agree with fred that the model's expression was crucial to the feel but in addition to that the 'cool' tones of the photo really brought it out for me...like a really cold early dawn.

Well executed, the lines of the dock leading to the out of focus man coupled with the model's expression and the overall blue tones of this shot really yield a sense of sadness and isolated loneliness. You've accomplished your goal, and furthmore, accomplished what I consider to be the primary goal of all art-to tell a story. Good work.
